Freda Howard is a visionary interior designer known for transforming traditional homes into timeless transitional and contemporary sanctuaries. With a refined eye for balance and proportion, she blends classic architecture with modern sophistication to create spaces that feel both current and enduring. She also enjoys working on contemporary projects, crafting interiors that are elegant, functional, and full of personality.
Guided by the belief that a home should reflect its owners—how they live, what they love, and the stories they carry, Freda preserves the soul of each space while enhancing its function and flow.
Freda holds Interior Design degrees and an Architectural Color Specialist Certificate from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. She also earned a degree in Economics from Rutgers University and studied Small Business Economics at Stockholms Universitet in Stockholm, Sweden.
Freda has over two decades of experience in interior design.  Her studio is based in Princeton, New Jersey, where she collaborates with a trusted network of architects, builders, and artisans to bring her clients’ visions to life.
